Your tastes may be different, but the colors and contrast level in the images that Lite shows were not at all what I was looking for. And if I don’t like the ones I see in a trial images/templates app, I have no guarantee that their paid app will be any better, so this one is a no-go for me. YMMV, of course. This was not professional level image quality - there are much better images and wallpapers on free websites available for download, so why would I pay the price for the full version?
This is a very nice app with some lovely desktop graphics. They have a great selection of high quality Retina MBP ones so it’s nice to have them already built for my computer. Also, the app has only frozen once. The difference between the free and paid versions is this one is limited to 5 downloads a day, which is fine. On the downside, it seems like there aren’t terribly many backgrounds and I haven’t seen any new wallpapers in the week since I’ve downloaded the app. Also, the search feature is really weak and hardly ever finds anything.
Wow! I am amazed at how gorgeous the pictures are as well as the variety. The free version has so many pictures that the paid version would be, in my opinion, a waste of money.
Nice collection of wallpapers. But some hd wallpapers have noise when viewed in huge screens.. It will be better if those wallpapers are avoided..
A long time ago - at lest 3 years ago - I downloaded this free app. And there were times I haven’t been using it, but now back on my new MacBook Pro with retina display I have started using it again. You want to download 2800 x 1800 desktop pictures from their website? No problem. A daily limit of 5 pictures is just what I need, more would be distracting anyway. It is easy to save the pictures from deep inside the Mac OS Library once you know where to find it. Thank you, guys!
